The Register of Chartered Security Professionals (RCSP) is delighted to announce that Corps Security has officially joined the Chartered Security Professionals (CSyP) Supporters Panel, marking a significant step forward in the organisation’s ongoing commitment to professional excellence and leadership in the UK security sector.

As one of the most respected names in the industry with a legacy dating back to 1859, Corps Security continues to set the standard for integrity, service quality, and ethical practice. By joining the Supporters Panel, Corps Security reinforces its commitment to the Register and to supporting Chartered status across its organisation.

Mike Bullock, Chief Executive of Corps Security, commented: “We are proud to support the Register of Chartered Security Professionals and the vital role it plays in raising standards across our profession. Our people are at the heart of what we do, and we are committed to investing in their development and leadership potential. Championing Chartership is a natural step in helping professionalise the industry and promote excellence at all levels.”

The CSyP Supporters Panel is a new initiative designed to engage leading organisations in promoting Chartership and enhancing the visibility of professional standards in security. Panel members contribute to outreach, mentoring, and awareness-building efforts while encouraging their own teams to pursue CSyP accreditation.

Ian Dyson CBE QPM DL, Chair of the RCSP, welcomed the news, stating: “Corps Security has long demonstrated its commitment to professionalism, ethical conduct, and people-first values. We are delighted to welcome them as a Supporter, and we look forward to working together to expand access to Chartership and inspire the next generation of security leaders.”

This collaboration marks another important milestone in the Register’s efforts to drive higher standards, improve career pathways, and highlight the importance of competence, integrity, and leadership in the security profession.

The Register of Chartered Security Professionals recognises individuals who have reached the highest levels of achievement and conduct in the sector. Chartered status is widely acknowledged as the gold standard for security professionals in the UK and internationally.
